Tuscany and Umbria are very hilly! And although I was never a serious cyclist, I looked forward to riding my bike through rural Italy.
Then a good friend convinced me to try an e-Bike. I was totally unprepared for the immense and overwhelming emotion that the experience gave me! Immediately I saw that cycling holidays in Italy and e-Bike cycling holidays, in particular, would be incredibly enjoyable.
Getting on the e-Bike was, indeed, 'just like riding a bike' yet, at the same time, it was anything but!

I ride the Haibike Cross along the white roads of Umbria or race the Lapierre along the ridges of the Val d'Orica, the experience is always delightful, challenging, and deeply rewarding.
