deale is a simple hotel run by a Mamma, Pappa and daughters. And it has that kind of family feel. Everything is cleaned to within an inch of its life. The views from here are ridiculous and the access to central Assisi so easy.
Hotel Ideale is night four and five on the GPS Guided eBike adventure. It is very easy to find, a few metres ride through the gate.
This down-to-earth hotel has 13 bright, unpretentious guest bedrooms with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges; some with furnished balconies or terraces. Views aside, the Ideale is a few minutes' walk from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.
Park your eBikes in the outside shed, and leave them for a couple of nights. Here you take a rest day.
Hotel Ideal is a Bed & Breakfast or 'garni'. Being so close to the centre of Assisi, you can wander into the town and take your own preference when it comes to the evening meal.
We recommend Pizzeria Ristorante Il Duomo for a local style pizza. The wood fired oven and the pizziolo produce some amazing pizzas. Ask for the anti-pasta mista! Oh and the owner always wears that style of shirt!
