Rifugio Lagazuoi 2,752m / 9,028ft ASL
The Lagazuoi Rifugio sits just above the cable car station. Its a short walk - 50m - up a metal stair way. Take your time, because it does take your breath!
Built in the 60's by Guido's father, Lagazuoi offers a more traditional style of rifugio accommodation. The private bedrooms used by Inspired ITALY Dolomites Ski Safari, are all located on the first floor, some with a balcony. The rooms sleep up to 18 guests. All are furnished with traditional wood furniture and single Tyrollean style beds. There are bathrooms on the first floor while the shared shower facilities are on the ground floor.
The Rifugio offers a ski-boot dryer, slippers, bed sheets and towels.

Rifugio Lagazuoi stands guard over two world class ski slopes: Lagazuoi & The Hidden Valley.
Graham Bell, former UK Olympic skier, TV presenter & journalist named 'Lagazuoi' as one of his top European ski slopes. Dropping around 670m into the Passo Falzarego, it finishes adjacent to the cable car station that provides access to the Hidden Valley.

Wherever possible, you will have a private bedroom with en suite facilities. However, the rifugio sell beds, not rooms and it is likely that you will have to share a room with fellow members of your Dolomites Ski Safari.
